Josiah Sam is a skilled software engineer with experience in developing autonomy software and frameworks for advanced vehicle technologies. Currently employed at XR Trading since April 2023, Josiah previously worked at Embark Trucks from November 2021 to March 2023, focusing on software for self-driving semi trucks within the Autonomous Vehicle Frameworks team. Prior to that, Josiah contributed to the multi-vessel boat swarm project at Textron Systems from January 2020 to November 2021, engaging in C++ development and sensor integration. Earlier experience includes a software engineering co-op at Textron Systems, supporting autonomy software for the Ripsaw M5 Robotic Combat Vehicle, and a co-op with Robotic Research, LLC, where Josiah assisted in high fidelity simulation testing for military autonomy projects. Josiah holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from York College of Pennsylvania.
