Jian Ma, Ph.D., is co-founder and CEO of XtalPi, overseeing business operations as well as research and product development. Prior to founding XtalPi in 2014, Dr. Ma served as a postdoctoral associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and was visiting scholar at RIKEN in Japan and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, during which time he completed extensive research on quantum information, quantum computing, and numerical simulation. Dr. Ma has published over twenty peer-reviewed articles in top scholarly publications, including Physics Reports, Physical Review, and Journal of Chemical Physics.
Dr. Ma earned his doctorate and B.S. in Physics at Zhejiang University.
