Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Xtract One Technologies

Lucas Pupek's work experience starts in 2014 when they worked as a Mechanical Engineer intern at Hit Dynamics, assisting with data collection, test material preparation, data analysis, and quality control for impact testing scenarios. In 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Intelligent Controls and Injection Molding Laboratory, where they contributed to various research projects, including testing a two-wheeled self-balancing robot and designing a thermal camera research system. From 2016 to 2018, Lucas pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of New Brunswick, focusing on the control and stabilization of fast, under-actuated robotic systems. Lucas then joined Xtract One Technologies as a Data Scientist in December 2018, and later transitioned to the role of Machine Learning Engineer II in April 2022.

Lucas Pupek has a solid education history in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Lucas obtained their Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of New Brunswick between 2012 and 2016.
