Scott McFadden is an Advanced Development Engineer at Yakima Products, with a focus on mechanical design, front-end design, and concept development since October 2013. Responsibilities include designing, building, and validating consumer products through the use of CAD and 3D printing, as well as introducing new technologies and manufacturing techniques. Prior experience as a Design Engineer at AAA Metal Fabrication involved managing engineering and design for small production runs, including the design of stainless steel tanks. Early experience includes a mechanical engineering project at Weyerhaeuser, where Scott developed an ergonomic industrial walkway for a sawmill. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University.
