Joe El-Khoury is an accomplished professional in laboratory medicine and clinical chemistry with extensive experience in both academic and clinical settings. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Yale University School of Medicine and holding multiple director roles at Yale New Haven Health since July 2014, Joe has focused on clinical chemistry and method development. Prior experience includes a Clinical Chemistry Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, where significant research was conducted on liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry and various clinical biomarkers. Joe also holds a Ph.D. in Clinical and Bioanalytical Chemistry from Cleveland State University, where dissertation work addressed vitamin D formulations in chronic kidney disease, supplemented by previous roles in teaching and research at Cleveland State University and the American University of Beirut.
