Yali Bio
Jim Kirby is a highly experienced scientific advisor and founder, currently serving as the Scientific Advisor at Yali Bio since September 2021 and as the Founder of The Green Stars Project, which promotes ethical consumerism through user-generated ratings since May 2014. Previous professional roles include Scientist at Agile BioFoundry, where focus was on terpene-based biofuel production in Rhodosporidium toruloides, and a long tenure at UC Berkeley from 2000 to June 2016, progressing through various ranks including Project Scientist and Associate Project Scientist, involving significant projects in Jay Keasling's group.
