Juan Agustin Pollio

Juan Agustin Pollio is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data science and analytics. Currently serving as a Sr. Data Scientist at Yalo since December 2021, Pollio previously held the position of Data Science & Analytics Lead at Agrofy, focusing on recommendation models, predictive models, and AWS deployment. Prior roles include Sr. Data Scientist at Despegar.com, where insights and predictive segmentation were developed, and Data Scientist at Telefónica Argentina, concentrating on clustering and predictive models. Pollio’s career began as an Actuary at MetLife, managing individual life actuarial reserves, followed by data analyst roles at Banco Hipotecario and HSBC. Pollio holds a degree in Actuary and Economics from the University of Buenos Aires, complemented by studies in Fine Arts and Art Curatorship from Nueva escuela de diseño y comunicacion and Universidad Nacional de las Artes.
