Qixi Cai's work experience includes a role as a Controls Engineer at Yaskawa Solectria Solar, starting in December 2022. In this position, they developed new controls features for grid tied inverters and supported the development of new inverters, while also maintaining controls codes and simulation models for field sites. They also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Motor Drives and Power Electronics Lab at Columbia University from February 2022 to July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at American Water from April 2019 to September 2019.
Qixi Cai completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from Drexel University, where they studied from 2016 to 2020. They pursued further education at Columbia University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from 2021 to 2022.
