Chenece Blackshear is an experienced professional in project management and program development, currently serving as the Director of Projects and Planning in Finance at Year Up since January 2018. With a proven track record in establishing operational processes and budgeting for programs with substantial financial oversight, Chenece has also contributed to initiatives promoting racial equity, such as the Change Team Fellowship formed in response to the 2020 racial reckoning. Prior roles include management of internship services, direct care for foster youth, and various educational positions that highlight expertise in behavioral health, student engagement, and community partnerships. Chenece is also the founder of Shear Team Connections, LLC. and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Sciences from San Jose State University.
