Year Up
Esthela Lopez-Williams has extensive experience in non-profit organizational development and corporate philanthropy, currently serving as the Senior Director of Corporate Philanthropy at Year Up since April 2017. In this role, Esthela leads multiple initiatives to advance antiracist practices within the organization, including defining an antiracist framework and equipping staff with necessary tools for meaningful conversations on the topic. Prior positions at Year Up include the Senior Director and Director of Institutional Giving, where Esthela contributed to the mission of closing the Opportunity Divide for urban young adults. Earlier experiences include serving as Development Manager at iMentor, significantly exceeding fundraising goals, and as a Visiting Fellow with Education Pioneers, which focuses on leadership development. Esthela holds a Master of Public Administration from NYU and a Bachelor of Arts in Individualized Study from New York University, complemented by a study abroad in Cultural Anthropology at NYU Madrid.
