Onllwyn Cavan Dixon

Onllwyn Cavan Dixon, Ed.D., serves as the National Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging at Year Up since June 2018. In this role, Dixon provides thought leadership on DEIB policies, partners to enhance inclusive services, and oversees the measurement of organizational DEIB goals while coaching employees and students. Additionally, Dixon has a long tenure as an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco, teaching various courses related to education and social issues since June 2009. Dixon's previous experience includes being a Lead Business Communications Instructor at Year Up and an Education Coordinator at Booker T. Washington Community Service Center, showcasing a strong commitment to student development and educational equity. Academic qualifications include degrees from the University of San Francisco and the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, alongside a certificate in Community Health Services from City College of San Francisco.
