Mika Thompson

Mika Thompson currently serves as Vice President Finance at Yellow Card App, the largest licensed Stablecoin on/off ramp in Africa, since February 2024. Previously, Mika held the position of Senior Vice President Finance at BitOasis from December 2018 to January 2024, where significant growth was achieved in the Finance team and over $35M was raised during a Series B fundraise. With extensive experience in finance leadership roles at OSN, Unity Resources Group, Louis Dreyfus Commodities, TECOM Investments, Interoute, and Marriott International, Mika has developed expertise in liquidity management, regulatory relations, and financial modeling. The educational background includes an ACMA, CGMA in Accounting from CIMA, a Diploma in IFRS from ACCA, a Master of Science in Composition for Media, and a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Music from the University of Hertfordshire.
