Richard Furey is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the engineering and technology sectors. Currently serving as Consortium Project Lead at SmartNano NI since July 2020, Richard is instrumental in developing project plans for the UK Research and Innovation’s Strength in Places Fund. As Managing Director of Yelo since February 2010, Richard oversees a leading supplier of test equipment, specializing in the design and manufacture of the Yelo TP series. Richard's career includes roles such as Managing Director at Averna Europe and Mindready Solutions (NI), as well as a series of leadership positions at Yelo prior to its current iteration. Richard founded Systems Solutions and held the position of Special Projects Manager at Power Automation Products. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton.
