Mohammad Shahid Ali

Mohammad Shahid Ali is currently serving as the Vice President at YES BANK since August 2023, focusing on the implementation and advancement of the digital Rupee initiative as requested by the market and regulator. Previously, Mohammad held the position of Senior Product Manager at Airtel Payments Bank from October 2021 to August 2023, where responsibilities included building product roadmaps and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the UPI stack. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Vice President at IndusInd Bank, managing UPI products and coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and Product Manager at ICICI Bank, specializing in digital payment channels. Early career experience involved work as a Plant Engineer at Finolex Cables Ltd and as an Engineering Trainee at R M Engineers. Mohammad holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking from Manipal Academy of Higher Education and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Hitkarini College.
