Eduardo Garces is a dedicated educational professional with extensive experience in college counseling, academic advising, and teaching. Currently serving as the Director of College Counseling and previously as a College Counselor at YES Prep Public Schools since July 2018, Garces has worked to support student success in higher education. Prior roles include teaching 7th-grade math at Houston Independent School District and various positions at Texas Southern University, including Academic Advisor and University Recruiter, where responsibilities included transcript review and recruitment program development. Early career experience includes coordinating youth development programs at Neighborhood Centers Inc. Garces holds a Master's degree in Sociology from Texas Southern University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Houston.
