Jacob Perry

Jacob Perry, PMP has a diverse work experience in project management and engineering roles. Jacob started their career as a Consultant - Project Manager/Product Engineer at Virtual Backgrounds LLP from August 2013 to February 2015, where they played an integral role in designing new and upgraded equipment for the photography industry. Jacob presented major contributions to a new product line, designed and implemented a 3D Printing process for rapid prototype development, and conducted CAD design and iterative analysis of production techniques and features.

Jacob then joined HEB as an Associate Team Leader in January 2014, and shortly after became a Team Leader in June 2014. Jacob worked for the company until February 2015, gaining experience in leadership and management within a retail setting.

In 2015, Jacob joined AmerisourceBergen as an Industrial Engineer, where they worked until May 2018. In this role, they focused on optimizing industrial processes and improving efficiency.

Currently, Jacob is working at YETI, starting in May 2018 as a Corporate Social Responsibility Analyst. Jacob later transitioned to become a Program Manager, ESG in February 2020. Jacob'sresponsibilities in these roles have centered around managing and implementing environmental, social, and governance initiatives within the company.

Jacob Perry, PMP has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial Engineering from Texas State University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2013. In addition, they hold various certifications, including the Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, obtained in December 2020. Jacob also has a SA8000 Certification from Social Accountability International, obtained in November 2018, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, obtained in September 2016.
