YKGI Holdings Berhad is a Malaysia-based company engaged in the manufacture of pickled and oiled hot rolled coils, cold rolled coils, galvanized and coated steel products (PPGI and PPGL). The Company operates through three segments: strategic business units (SBU) 1, SBU 2 and SBU 3. The SBU 1 segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of coated steel products and downstream roofing products in Sabah and Sarawak, East Malaysia. The SBU 2 segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of galvanized, coated and non-coated steel products in West Malaysia. The SBU 3 segment is engaged in the trading of galvanized, coated and non-coated steel products, building and construction materials; manufacture and sale of steel tubes and pipes, and processing of flat and long steel products in West Malaysia. It sells products in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, Sarawak and export markets. It is also involved in the manufacture and sale of roll-formed products, and trading in hardware materials.
