Majdi Osman

Majdi Osman is a prominent figure in medical microbiology and infectious diseases, currently serving as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Cape Town. As Chief Medical Officer at OpenBiome, Osman leads a significant clinical and research program at the largest non-profit microbiota transplantation bank in the world. Additionally, as a consultant at CRI Foundation, support is provided to African researchers focusing on areas such as pediatrics and mental health. Osman co-founded YLabs, a non-profit dedicated to improving adolescent health through innovative design and research. With a strong educational background including a Master of Public Health from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Medicine from UCL, Osman has held various prestigious roles, including Senior Lecturer at Boston Children's Hospital and a Frank Knox Fellow at Harvard University.
