Abbie Weir is a dedicated youth work professional currently serving as the Senior Youth Worker at YMCA Cardiff Group since June 2024. In this role, Abbie leads the development and implementation of inclusive programs aimed at fostering young people's personal, social, and educational growth while managing a team of staff and volunteers. Abbie also holds the position of Youth Ambassador and Youth Worker at YMCA England & Wales, where prior experience as an Open Access Youth Worker laid a strong foundation for effective youth provision. Additional experience includes volunteer roles with Voices From Care Cymru and Cardiff Youth Service, as well as a retail position at Asda. Abbie holds a degree in Youth and Community Work from Cardiff Metropolitan University.
