Roshan Roy

Roshan Roy has extensive experience in maintenance and program coordination, currently serving as a Maintenance Technician and Program Coordinator at YMCA Canada since January 2017. In this role, Roshan has developed youth educational programs and supervised volunteers, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Previously, Roshan worked as a Maintenance Engineer at Wonderbrands, developing and managing maintenance protocols for bakery locations in Ontario, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at York University, creating HVAC system simulations to enhance air quality. Additional experience includes managing a 3D printing lab at York University's Lassonde School of Engineering and a project management internship at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, where responsibilities included decommissioning oversight and documentation. Roshan holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from York University.
