Richard D Surdel Jr, CPRP, CPO, currently serves as the Associate Executive Director for Housekeeping & Transportation at The Y in Central Maryland since April 2018, overseeing property operations, including housekeeping, maintenance, and construction projects. Previously held roles include Assistant Project Coordinator at the City of Annapolis, where responsibilities involved managing substance use disorder data and grant applications, and positions as Skilled Trade Specialist Supervisor at the Maryland Department of Transportation and Property Management Shop Clerk at Baltimore County. With experience from various organizations, including First Class Electric and Student Services, Inc., Richard has developed a diverse skill set in property management, maintenance, and operations. Richard holds a Graduate Certificate from North Carolina State University in Park and Recreation Maintenance Management and is pursuing an Associate of Applied Science at the Community College of Baltimore County.
