YMCA of Greater Boston
David Shapiro is an accomplished nonprofit leader with a diverse background in mentorship and community engagement. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the YMCA of Greater Boston since October 2022, Shapiro has dedicated their career to enhancing the quality of life for vulnerable populations. Shapiro's commitment to mentorship is exemplified through roles such as CEO of MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership and Board Member for Friends of the Children and Common Impact. Shapiro also held key positions, including Board Chair at the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network and CEO of Mass Mentoring Partnership.
