Cameron Nicholson has had an extensive career in the YMCA and Education sectors, taking on roles such as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Branch Executive Director, and Executive Director. With a background in Sports Administration and Education, Cameron has overseen various initiatives focused on youth development, healthy living, social responsibility, multiculturalism, and inclusion. Cameron's leadership has been instrumental in community building projects, leadership academies, and program development.

The YMCA of Greater Des Moines in central Iowa strengthens community through programs focused on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. We have eight full-facility fitness centers plus the YMCA Supportive Housing Campus and Y Camp.
