Darcy Swan

Darcy Swan currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Youth Development Services at the YMCA of Greater Kansas City since December 2022, following a tenure as Vice President of Youth Development Services. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools from July 2020 to December 2022 and various roles in the Shawnee Mission School District from July 2007 to July 2020, including Coordinator of Curriculum and Instruction and Interim Principal. Early career experience includes teaching Language Arts for grades 7 and 8 at Mission Valley Middle School from August 1998 to July 2007. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Education from The University of Kansas, a Building Leadership Licensure from Baker University, and a Superintendent District Leadership License from Wichita State University.
