Laura Halstead, MBA, CPSM, currently serves as the Senior Director of Procurement & Contracts at the YMCA of Greater New York, focusing on transforming a decentralized purchasing environment into a streamlined procurement process. With prior experience as a Senior Procurement Consultant for the NYC Department of Education and as Director of Client Engagement at LogicSource, Inc., Laura has managed the transition of strategic sourcing programs across various organizations. Previously, Laura held a similar role at the YMCA of Greater New York and worked as a Procurement Officer at the American University of Beirut, where a significant transformation of procurement functions occurred. Laura's career began at GRIF Management, Inc., leading operations and project management in technology solutions for the oil and gas sector. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Marketing from Pace University and a BBA in International Business from Hofstra University.
