KJ Senes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in social service training and community engagement. Currently serving as the Program Skills and Training Manager at the YMCA of Greater Seattle, KJ has effectively developed and managed a comprehensive training program for over 300 social service staff, facilitated Crisis Intervention Training, and led a team of certified trainers in de-escalation techniques. Previous roles include Community Engagement Coordinator for Foster Care Services at the YMCA, where KJ significantly increased the number of licensed foster homes, and Project Coordinator for the Prevention First Monterey County Project at California State University, Monterey Bay, focusing on public health initiatives. KJ holds a Bachelor's degree in Collaborative Health and Human Services from California State University, Monterey Bay, and has a strong background in research and tutoring.
