Lexie Palacio

Lexie Palacio serves as the Associate Executive Director and Community Collaborative Director for Partners in Prevention at YMCA of San Diego County since December 2019. Previous roles include Regional Lead for First 5 Healthy Development Services and Program Manager at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego from January 2018 to December 2019, and Preschool Program Director II at YMCA of San Diego County from May 2015 to January 2018. Lexie also has extensive experience at Bright Horizons, holding various positions from Director to Lead Teacher between June 2005 and April 2015. In addition, Lexie spent a brief period as a Part-Time Instructor at California State University, Northridge, teaching a course on Infant and Toddler Development and Responsive Program Planning in late 2013. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Educational Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Childcare Administration, both from California State University, Northridge.
