Yong-Chan Kim

Yong-Chan Kim is a distinguished academic and leader in the field of communication, currently serving as the Vice President for International Affairs and a Professor at Yonsei University since September 2009. In addition to these roles, Yong-Chan Kim holds the position of President at the Korea Health Communication Association, serves as Senior Editor for the journal Communication Theories, and is the Faculty Senior Editor for Yonsei Chunchu, the university's student newspaper. Prior experience includes Assistant Professor roles at the University of Iowa and the University of Alabama. Yong-Chan Kim earned a PhD in Communication from the University of Southern California, a Master of Arts in Communication from the University at Albany, and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Yonsei University.
