Yoona Koo

Yoona Koo is an English Language Teacher at Future's Best Education since September 2024 and an Undergraduate Research Intern at the Plant RNA Biology Lab at Yonsei University since March 2023, focusing on light signaling integration into miRNA biogenesis in plants under Prof. Seong Wook Yang. As Outreach Director of Paper Bridges at Yonsei University from March 2021 to July 2024, Yoona coordinated partnerships with orphanages and organized a bi-yearly 'Letter to Orphans' program. Additionally, experience includes teaching English at Read 101 from February 2021 to July 2024 and serving as a General Officer at Underwood Global Community and a TOEFL Speaking Teaching Assistant at GES어학원. Yoona is pursuing a degree in Integrated Science and Engineering with a focus on Bio-convergence at Yonsei University, with previous education including the International Baccalaureate and Cambridge IGCSE from Sekolah Pelita Harapan.
