Rob Oldfield

Rob Oldfield is an experienced Fine Art Technician and Exhibition Technician at York St John University since 2011, where responsibilities include delivering graphic and exhibition displays throughout the campus. Additionally, Oldfield has worked as an Exhibition Technician at the National Railway Museum since 2010 and operated Rob Oldfield Design Associates from 1976 to 2012, specializing in signwriting, gilding, painted furniture, and heraldic painting, while also creating interpretive and exhibition displays for various clients such as the RNLI and heritage centers. Oldfield began a career in the Merchant Navy as an Apprentice Officer from 1967 to 1969 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Design from Leeds Beckett University, obtained between 1972 and 1975.
