Jake Walker has a diverse work experience in the energy sector. Jake started their career at ENSEK in 2017 as an Operations Analyst, where they worked with settlement, billing, and internal process teams to identify data anomalies and rectify imbalances and inaccuracies. In 2018, they joined Yorkshire Gas and Power as an Energy Specialist, answering queries from energy brokers and resolving disputes. Jake then took on the role of MRA Specialist, where they ensured compliance with industry regulations and resolved metering exceptions. Jake later served as the Industry Data Team Leader, Development Manager, and Technical Business Analyst at Yorkshire Gas and Power. Currently, they hold the position of Business Technology Lead.

Jake Walker began their education at Goole High School, where they attended from 2006 to 2011. After completing high school, they went on to study at John Leggott College from 2011 to 2013. Following their time at the college, Jake pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with a Foundation Year at the University of Leeds, specializing in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences. Jake successfully completed this degree program from 2013 to 2017.
