YFS mission statement: 

YFS is a non-profit organisation initiated by junior scholars, students, and practitioners of federalism, multilevel governance, and democracy worldwide. The organisation’s  primary goal is to make the discipline of federalism attractive to young academics and practitioners. The YFS believes that, to engage the upcoming generation(s) with the study of federalism, a young scholar- and student-led academically oriented body devoted to this aim is a key requisite. We aim to foster an intellectually enriching platform for early career scientific exchanges, research, and discussions and to create a collaborative space from which we can help shape federal studies over time.
