Michael Norris has held various roles in their work experience. Michael started their career as a Resource & Administration Specialist at Norton Norris Inc. in 2013. In 2014, they became a Project Manager at the same company. Michael then moved to UrbanMatter Chicago in 2015, where they served as the Managing Director. In 2015, they also started working at Youtech. Michael began as a Project Manager and later transitioned to become the Director of Content. In 2017, Michael became the Director of Search Marketing, and in 2018, they were promoted to VP of Marketing. Their most recent role at Youtech was as the Chief Marketing Officer, which they held from August 2019 onwards. Throughout their career, Michael has been involved in various aspects of marketing, including content creation, SEO implementation, social media management, PR strategy development, and data analytics analysis. Michael has also served as the Editor-in-Chief for UrbanMatter.com (formerly ChicagoGenie.com).

Michael Norris completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing at Southern New Hampshire University from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended Eastern Illinois University from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a major in Philosophy and a minor in English. In addition to their formal education, Michael has also earned certifications such as Centro Certified: Digital Media Essentials from Centro in April 2020 and Sponsored Ads Foundations Certification from Amazon in March 2020. Michael also holds certifications from Google, including Google AdWords Certified Individual and Google Analytics Individual Qualification, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided. Lastly, Michael has acquired the Hubspot Inbound Certification from HubSpot.
