Danae H.

Danae H. is an experienced UX research professional with a strong background in user experience design and research management. At YouTube, from June 2021 to May 2024, Danae held various leadership roles, including Staff UX Research Manager and Sr UX Research Manager, focusing on Search, Identity, and Privacy, while establishing research programs aligned with YouTube's strategic objectives. Prior experience includes tenure at Twitch as a Senior UX Researcher, where Danae led research initiatives, and as a UX Researcher, supporting the design of mobile and Living Room apps. Previous roles at Google [X] and the Human Factors Research Laboratory involved conducting usability studies and designing interactive systems. Danae holds a Ph.D. in Human Computer Interaction and an M.A. in Psychology (Human Factors) from Rice University.
