Kewei Wang

Kewei Wang is a highly experienced Senior Staff Software Engineer at YouTube, with a focus on data infrastructure management and engineering leadership since June 2019. In this role, Kewei oversees data teams responsible for developing serving and data infrastructure that supports YouTube's business operations, including A/B testing infrastructure and real-time machine learning feature generation. Prior to joining YouTube, Kewei worked at Google from July 2014 to June 2019 as a Staff Software Engineer, leading the Play analytics team and designing large-scale real-time data processing systems. Kewei also holds experience as a Software Developer at Amazon, where responsibilities included developing an external payment system and launching new payment logic for the European market. Kewei holds a Master of Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University, completed in 2013.
