Amanda Sims has extensive work experience in roles related to church ministry and online operations. Amanda started working at Life.Church in 2009, where they held various positions such as Church Online Experience Coordinator and Church Online Experience Director. In these roles, they recruited, equipped, and trained volunteer teams to interact with guests during online services. Amanda also served as the Church Online Maestro, providing training and support to different volunteer teams and guiding new believers in the community. Amanda later became the Church Online Prayer Team Coordinator, leading over 230 volunteers in receiving and responding to prayer requests. Amanda then transitioned to the role of Church Online Prayer Team Pastor, where they continued to provide training and support for volunteers while also raising up leaders to provide care for team members. Their most recent role was at YouVersion, where they worked as a Global Content Partnerships Manager, starting in January 2023.
Amanda Sims pursued their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from Millersville University of Pennsylvania, completing their studies from 1993 to 1998. Currently, they are enrolled in Regent University to obtain a Master's Degree in Online Ministry, expected to be completed between 2021 and 2023.
