Simon Ouderkirk

Simon Ouderkirk is a seasoned product management professional with extensive experience in the streaming media industry, currently serving as Principal Product Manager at Disney Streaming since August 2021. Simon has significantly improved playback and delivery efficiencies, generating over $150 million in value since 2023 while leading a team of product managers across multiple engineering teams. With a strong background in launching critical product initiatives and optimizing workflows, Simon has also held roles such as Group Product Manager and Senior Product Manager at Disney Streaming, as well as key positions at other tech companies like dbt Labs and Automattic. In addition to advising roles for YPulse and SHOWX, Simon is the Board Chair at the Ndakinna Education Center, contributing to indigenous education and cultural preservation. Simon holds a Master's degree in Social, Political, Ethical and Legal Philosophy and a Bachelor's degree in Politics, Philosophy and Law from Binghamton University.
