Samir Chabukswar has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Samir started their professional journey as an Industrial Engineer at Mahindra and Mahindra Limited in 1994. Samir then worked as a Consultant at Poona Divisional Productivity Council from 1995 to 1998. Samir briefly worked as a Deputy Manager at Merloni Termosanitari (I) Limited in 1998. From 2001 to 2002, they served as a Consultant in a private role. In 2003, they joined Human Factors International as a Group Lead until 2006. Samir then worked at Persistent Systems as the Group Head of User Experience Design from 2006 to 2009. In 2009, they founded YUJ Designs, where they held the position of Founder and CEO. In 2011, Samir became the Managing Director of Hii Labs Pvt Ltd. In 2018, they founded and became the Director of the Institute For Design Led Entrepreneurship (IfDE). Throughout their career, Samir has held various leadership positions and has played a significant role in the field of design and entrepreneurship.
Samir Chabukswar holds a Certificate in Persuasive Leadership from The Wharton School, which they completed by 2022. Samir also earned a Master's degree in Human Factors from Clemson University between 1999 and 2001. Prior to that, they completed a Post Grad Program in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing, from Pune University from 1997 to 1999. Samir obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology.
