Erik Aas is an experienced professional with a background in advancement and community engagement, currently serving as the Advancement Senior Associate at YW Boston since December 2022. Previously, Erik worked as a Student Services Representative at MacPhail Center for Music, where responsibilities included serving as the primary point of contact for over 14,000 students annually. Erik’s experience also includes roles as an Outreach Coordinator at Optum, and a K-12 Education Intern at Global Minnesota, where both positions involved effective communication and educational outreach. Prior experience includes leadership roles as a Bartender at Profile Event Center and Shift Leader at Coldstone Creamery. Erik holds a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from the University of Minnesota and has pursued further studies in Peace and Conflict Studies in the Balkans through the School for International Training.
