Carolin Jessel

Carolin Jessel has extensive experience in risk management and engineering, currently serving as Head of Transaction Risk Management at Zalando from July 2021 to February 2025, where leadership covers software engineering, product, and data/AI teams focused on fraud protection. Previously, Carolin held multiple roles at Amazon from June 2013 to May 2021, including Head of Prime Video Payments, overseeing payment operations and analytics, and Software Engineering Manager, enhancing payment success globally. Earlier roles include Technical Program Manager at Deutsche Bank, managing technical teams for significant programs, and an internship at Steria Mummert Consulting AG focused on integrating electronic signatures.
