Dirka Bender

Dirka Bender has over a decade of experience in human resources and organizational development, currently serving as Director of People & Organization at Zalando since July 2012. Prior roles at Zalando include Head of P&O, Lead HR Business Partner, and Program Director for Performance Management. Before joining Zalando, Dirka held the position of Director of HR Development at Lufthansa Technik and worked as a Trainer and Coach at Thiel und Partner Personnel Development. Initial career experiences include roles as a freelancer and intern at Deutsche Bahn and Intelligenz System Transfer GmbH. Dirka Bender holds a Diplom in Psychology from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and a certification as a Professional Coach from iPEC Coaching.
