Raymond Lui has extensive experience in human resources, starting with their role as a Human Resources Specialist at Sun Microsystems from 2004 to 2007. Raymond then worked as an Executive Assistant to the President at the WASC Senior College and University Commission from 2007 to 2010. Following that, they held various roles at Granite Expo & Company, including Human Resources Generalist from 2010 to 2012, and Human Resources Manager from 2012 to 2014.

In 2015, Lui joined Vision Technologies as a Human Resources Manager, where they were responsible for forecasting cost analysis and evaluating staffing needs. Raymond then moved to InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG™) as a Human Resources Business Partner from 2016 to 2018, collaborating with cross-functional HR and business teams and analyzing department activities trends.

Since 2018, Lui has been with Fanbyte, first as a Human Resources Director and later promoted to Senior Director, Human Resources. Their responsibilities include leading and executing talent processes and programs, evaluating HR reports and department initiatives, and overseeing workforce planning, performance management, labor relations, and compensation planning. Fanbyte is part of Tencent, with a mission to entertain and elevate gaming communities with innovation, imagination, and information.

Raymond Lui holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications, including "HR as a Business Partner" and "Employee Engagement" from LinkedIn in 2018. Furthermore, Raymond earned the "Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification" from HRCI in September 2021 and the "Senior Professional in Human Resources" certification from the HR Certification Institute in February 2018.
