Jennifer Jones, PhD, has extensive experience in data science and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Data Scientist at ZapLabs since June 2016, Jennifer previously held positions as a Research Associate and Graduate Teaching Assistant at UC Berkeley from 2009 to 2014, where responsibilities included teaching and preparing coursework in the Departments of Physics and Mechanical Engineering. Previous experience includes working as a Mechanical Engineer at Cascade Energy Engineering, where site data analysis and efficiency modeling were key tasks, and contributing as a Research Associate at NASA Glenn Research Center and Research Fellow at Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Jennifer earned a PhD and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Portland State University.
