Kristjan Dragovan Širnik has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Kristjan started their career in 2015 as a Computer Engineer at the Institute for Transmedia Design. In 2017, they joined Dasof d.o.o. as a Software Developer, where they worked for five years until 2022. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Zemanta, an Outbrain company, starting in July 2022.
Kristjan Dragovan Širnik completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Ljubljana from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended ŠC Kranj from 2011 to 2015, where they pursued a Strokovna gimnazija (vocational high school) program. Kristjan also obtained multiple certifications in various subjects such as Algorithmic Thinking with Python, Graphite and Grafana, Java programming, Apache Spark, and more, from LinkedIn in 2022.
