David Bouchillon has had a long and varied career in software engineering. David began their career in 1993 as a Technical Support Specialist at IBM. In 1997 they moved to Equifax as a Programmer I, then to iba America as a Programmer/Support Specialist in 1998. In 1999 they joined Oracle as a Senior Software Engineer, then Cloudera as a Software Engineer in 2013. Most recently, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Zenoss since 2014. At Zenoss, they have developed in open source and enterprise environments, improved Python extension, pykerberos, to encrypt/decrypt payloads for HTTP requests using gssapi from Linux to Windows, used Twisted Python library to make asynchronous requests to multiple device types, developed and maintained Powershell scripts, had a strong understanding of kerberos, developed python classes for multiple asynchronous clients to communicate with Windows servers, was a Microsoft Windows expert for the company, used javascript to display information from zope backend, worked with serverless functions across major platforms, developed methods using Go to administer active sessions for users in a multi-tenant cloud based application, and was a Scrum master for a team of Developers and QA. David also led a team of developers on multiple projects including developing a plugin for combined reports for serverless monitoring and a .
David Bouchillon obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from Mississippi State University between 1990 and 1996.
