Tomas Vera

Tomas Vera has extensive work experience in various roles related to research, innovation, and education. Tomas is currently serving as a Partner and Research Director at Zenta Group, where they are responsible for defining and implementing the company's research and development strategy. Prior to this, they worked as a Professor at Universidad de Chile, where they taught in the Master's program in Information Technologies. Tomas also held teaching positions at Universidad Mayor and ANEPE - Academia Nacional de Estudios Políticos y Estratégicos. Tomas Vera has founded and served as the CEO of IdeoInn, a company focused on innovation management. Tomas also co-founded Comunidad Nexon.cl. In addition, they have experience as a CINNO - Innovation and New Business Manager at Kuvasz Solution's, as well as a Director of R&D at Nectia S.A. Tomas Vera's expertise lies in areas such as technology strategy, project management, and software development.

Tomas Vera attended Universidad de Chile from 2016 to 2020, where they received a Doctorado en Ciencias, mención Computación in the field of Ciencias de la computación. Prior to that, they studied at Universidad Diego Portales from 2006 to 2009, earning a degree in Ingeniero with a focus on Informatica y Gestion. Tomas also completed their Licenciatura en Informatica at Universidad Nacional de La Plata from 2000 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Base24-eps (Scripting, C++ Customization) from ACI Worldwide and SCJP - Java SE/EE from Sun Argentina.
