Jonny Wake MCIPS has extensive work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Jonny currently serves as the Head of Procurement at Zentia in the UK, where they are responsible for establishing a greenfield Procurement function. Prior to this role, Jonny held various positions at Gardner Aerospace, including Director of Procurement and Head of Supplier Development. During their time at Gardner Aerospace, they successfully implemented a new department to drive supplier performance improvement and reduce supply chain risks. Before joining Gardner Aerospace, Jonny worked at Siemens Energy as a Direct Procurement Manager, where they managed direct sourcing for various commodities in demanding industries such as nuclear and oil/gas. Jonny also worked as a Lead Project Buyer, coordinating procurement activities for complex bid submissions and project launches. Jonny's earlier experience includes roles at Nuffield Health as a Supplies Manager and at CTD Architectural Tiles as a Regional Stock Controller.
Jonny Wake MCIPS completed their education from 2006 to 2010 at Northumbria University, where they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Leadership & Management. Jonny'sfield of study during this time was Business Administration and Management, General. Following that, from 2014 to 2020, Jonny pursued further education at CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply. Jonny achieved the status of Chartered Member during their time there, although the specific field of study is not provided.
