Nevena Katsarska

Nevena Katsarska has a diverse range of work experience in the field of HR and organizational development. Nevena is currently working at Zentiva as the Head of HR for Commercial Operations, where they oversee the HR agenda for multiple markets and drives HR KPI targets in the commercial units. Nevena also develops effective HR and people strategies and maintains relationships with key stakeholders. Prior to their current role, they served as the Head of Integration CEE HR at Zentiva, where they managed the integration process and provided focus and direction on key issues. Before joining Zentiva, Nevena worked at Alvogen as the Regional Director of Org Development and HR for the CEE region. Nevena also has experience at Experian as a Manager for Eastern Europe, UAE, and DA EMEA in Talent & Resourcing, and at Stanton Chase - Executive Search Consultants as an Executive Search Research Associate. Nevena's early work experience includes working as a Human Resources Consultant at CATRO.

Nevena Katsarska's education history includes a Postgraduate Degree from Harvard Business School in 2023, a program focused on Advent Leadership Academy. Nevena also attended IESE Business School from 2018 to 2019, completing a program called PMD. Nevena holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, obtained between 2007 and 2009. Nevena received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History and Philosophy of Science from the same university from 2001 to 2005. Nevena's earliest education was at Spanish High School, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in the Spanish language from 1997 to 2001. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in project management, contract law, leadership training, personality and ability assessment, talent and recruitment partner, Oracle HR module, and other areas from reputable institutions throughout their career.
