Howard Schlesinger began their work experience in 1979 as the Director of Sales and Operations at Schlesinger Brothers, a leather goods company. Over the course of 10 years, they held various roles within the company until its acquisition by TUMI.

Following the acquisition, Howard joined TUMI as the Brand Manager, responsible for product development and dealer relationships. Howard later became the VP of Operations, where they researched and implemented measures to minimize non-productive costs. Ultimately, Howard served as the VP of Sales, building the TUMI brand and achieving high profitability.

In 2016, Howard joined PELHAM LEATHER GOODS as the Director of Sales for Ted Baker Luggage in North America. Howard then moved to Zero Halliburton, Inc. in 2017 as the Director of Business Development, where they focused on growing the company's business in North America through various channels.
