Tom Lane has a strong background in health, safety, and environmental roles. Tom is currently the Global Head of Health, Safety & Environment at ZeroAvia since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked at GKN Aerospace as the Global Health, Safety & Environmental Programme Senior Manager from November 2019 to June 2023. Tom Lane also gained experience as a Health & Safety Advisor at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd from February 2017 to October 2019, and as a Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Advisor at EVO Group from March 2016 to January 2017. Earlier in their career, Tom Lane served as a Health and Safety Coordinator at Everyone Active - SLM from July 2011 to August 2015.

Tom Lane completed their education at KeyOstas from 2018 to 2022, where they obtained a NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (QCF Level 6). Prior to that, they attended Chipping Campden School from 2007 to 2009, where they completed their A-Levels. In addition to their formal education, Tom has obtained various certifications, including the NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety in 2019 and the NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management in 2018. Tom also holds certifications in Mental Health First Aid and Environmental Management.
